Cypress, CA (September 18, 2022) – Tommy Town homebreds Stanford Man and Seige the Day are the latest juvenile winners by the 2022 California Leading Second Crop Sire by Number of Winners Stanford.

Stanford Man earned his maiden win by taking the field wire-to-wire in the 6th race at Los Alamitos going five and one-half furlongs over the main track. Ridden to victory by Abel Cedillo, he was never seriously threatened throughout and came home best by nearly two lengths.

Trained by Jonathan Wong, he is out of the winning More Than Ready mare, Bella Be Ready.

On September 16, Seige the Day opened the card at Golden Gate Fields with his victory over the same distance at Stanford Man, only on the all weather surface. Seige the Day pressured the leader early, took over around the turn and dug in late to gamely win by a neck.
