Three Wins in Last Four Starts for Colt Fiction

Del Mar, CA (November 28, 2020) – Lining up for the 8t race at Del Mar, Ministers Wild Cat son Colt Fiction was favored to make it three wins in his last four starts. The chestnut gelding did not disappoint the faithful as he came home best in the $61,000 allowance going six furlongs over the fast main track.

Breaking from the outside post in the field of nine, Colt Fiction quickly attained a stalking position on the inside speed. He came three wide at the top of the stretch to launch his bid. The leader was tenacious, but Colt Fiction was moreso. He kept coming, catching the pacesetter in the shadow of the wire to win by a head.

Colt Fiction races for Jay Mangoonian and Julie Mangoonian and he is trained by Bill Spawr. Bred in California by Robert Mitchell, he is out of the Eddington mare, Devilish Pro.
