Take Me for a Spin Now Two-for Three

Pleasanton, CA (July 25, 2020) – The second winner on the Pleasanton card for Tommy Town Thoroughbreds LLC was Take Me for a Spin, who earned a hard fought win in the 3rd race, a six furlong allowance.

The 3-year-old son of Old Topper broke from the inside post and was immediately challenged for the lead. Thatduel lasted down the backstretch and around the turn. He vanquished that foe at the top of the stretch, but twomore came calling. He turned them all away to win by a half-length.

Trained by Jonathan Wong, Take Me for a Spin has two wins and one third in his three career starts. The homebred is out of the multiple stakes winning Ministers Wild Cat mare, Going for a Spin.
