Stanford to Stand at Tommy Town

SANTA YNEZ, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2017) — Tommy Town Thoroughbreds is excited to introduce Stanford for the 2018 breeding season. Stanford is a multiple stakes winner of the $1.25 million G2 Charles Town Classic and was a debut winner sprinting at two. He earned over $1.3 million for his connections of Stonestreet Stables LLC, Susan Magnier, Michael B. Tabor and Derrick Smith and was trained by Todd Pletcher.

Bred by WinStar Farm, LLC he is out of the Distorted Humor broodmare Rosy Humor. He is the second leading earner of Malibu Moon and he set a new track record for 8.5 furlongs this year; he is out of the family of sires Pulpit, Johannesburg and Tale of the Cat.

Stanford will be the only Malibu Moon son standing in California. He will stand at Tommy Town Thoroughbreds for $5,000 stud fee, stands and nurses.
