Stanford Son Scores Fourth Win; Earnings over $100,000

Albany, CA (February 24, 2023) – Love’em N Leave’em earned his fourth career victory and took his earnings over the $100,000 mark in today’s 2nd race at Golden Gate Fields going six furlongs over the all weather.

The 4-year-old Tommy Town homebred son of Stanford flew out of the gate and was quickly joined along the inside by multiple stakes winner Bettor Trip Nick. The two engaged in a tactical match race the rest of the way. Love’em N Leave’em took the lead at the top of the stretch and dug in gamely to hold off his very stubborn foe to the win. In the end a neck separated the two.

Trained by Jonathan Wong, Love’em N Leave’em’s dam, the winning First Samurai mare, Sheza Firstsamurai, is also a Tommy Town homebred. His earnings now stand at $100,058.
