Sea Sailor Breaks Maiden Second Time Out

Albany, CA (August 2, 2020) – Sea Sailor, who was second in his career debut, moved up on slot next time out to break his maiden in the 2nd race at the Sonoma at Golden Gate meeting going five furlongs over the all weather.

The 2-year-old son of Ministers Wild Cat has shown he isn’t an early pace type and he sat three lengths off the leaders down the backstretch. Launching his bid around the turn, he circled the field four wide and reached the front at the top of the stretch. He drew away in the final furlong to win by three widening lengths.

Racing for Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, LLC, he was bred by the farm in partnership with Jerry Hollendorfer. Trained by Jonathan Wong, he is out of the Stormy Atlantic mare, Sea Creature.

Sea Sailor is the second 2-year-old winner for Ministers Wild Cat in 2020.
