Praise and Honor Triumphs in Keeneland Allowance

Lexington, KY (April 14, 2023) – Praise and Honor, who has six wins and is listed stakes-placed over the all weather, earned her first career victory over the dirt surface with very game performance in the 8th race at Keeneland, a $121,723 allowance going six and one-half furlongs.

Our 6-year-old daughter of Honor Code drew the outside post in the field of eight. Sitting a stalking trip in third down the backstretch, she took up the chase approaching the far turn. She engaged the leaders from the three path and fought tooth and nail every step of the final two furlongs. At the wire, she proved the most tenacious to win by a head.

Trained by Jonathan Wong, Praise and Honor was bred in Kentucky by Breffni Farm. She has won or placed in ten of her sixteen career starts and she has earned $248,588. Out of the stakes-winning Speightstown mare, Going to Kukaro, Californians will recognize she comes from the Golden Eagle Farm family that produced G1-winner Jeanne Jones and the brilliantly fast Beautiful Glass.
