Man Oh Man the Stanford 2-Year-Olds Have Come Out Running

Albany, CA (June 12, 2022) – Man Oh Man, the Stanford 2-year-olds have come out running. The aptly named Tommy Town homebred live up to his moniker with a gritty debut performance in the 5th race at Golden Gate Fields.

A field of eight lined-up for the five furlong maiden special weight, but it was a two horse race from the get-go.
Pressing from the outside, Man Oh Man and his opponent duked it out down the backstretch and around the turn. The duo carried a three length lead into the stretch and it wasn’t settled until the final furlong. Man Oh Man drew even and pulled away to win by a length and one-quarter.

Man Oh Man is second generation Tommy Town family, being out of the winning Kafwain mare, Alwazabridesmaid. His full brother Prayer of Jabez earned his maiden special weight diploma on June 4 over the same Northern California oval. The brothers are trained by Jonathan Wong.
