Love’em N Leave’em Wins Golden Gate Allowance
Albany, CA (December 11, 2021) – Love’em N Leave’em, our homebred son of California’s Leading Freshman Sire Stanford turned in a tough as nails performance to win the 6th race at Golden Gate Fields, a five furlong allowance over the firm turf course.
Love’em N Leave’em was a debut winner over the all weather and followed that up with a third against winners. Making his first start on the grass, he settled two lengths off the leaders for the first three furlongs. He made up some ground coming off the turn, but he was still more than a length away at the top of the stretch. He began to roll, catching the leader in the shadow of the wire and winning by a nose in a head bobbing finish.
Trained by Jonathan Wong, Love’em N Leave’em was produced by the First Samurai mare, Sheza Firstsamurai, who is also a Tommy Town homebred.
