Homebred Love’em N Leave’em Ninth Winner for Stanford

Albany, CA (August 15, 2021) – Love’em N Leave’em left them behind in his career debut and he became the NINTH winner for California’s Leading Freshman Sire Stanford. Our Tommy Town Thoroughbreds’ homebred earned his first visit to the winner’s circle going six furlongs in the 8th at Golden Gate Fields.

Love’em N Leave’em drew post seven in the field of eleven of the maiden special weight all weather contest. Trainer Jonathan Wong had him ready to run and he did just that. First out of the gate, he cleared the field by a length down the backstretch and into the turn. It was two lengths at the top of the stretch and he added another half length at that margin at the wire.

Love’em N Leave’em had that cheeky winning attitude as a foal. He is the first foal from our homebred winning First Samurai mare, Sheza FirstSamurai. His granddam, Northern Station, won the Nellie Morris Stakes in the Tommy Town colors.
