Arcadia, CA (March 9, 2022) – Grazen was named the 2021 Champion Sire of California Conceived Foals by Earnings and Champion Sire of California Conceived Foals by Number of Winners.

Grazen’s son Lieutenant Dan was named 2021 Champion California-bred Older Male, Sprinter, and Turf Horse and he is a finalist for California-bred Horse of the Year.

Lieutenant Dan won three of his four starts on the year, including the Eddie S. (G2) at Santa Anita and the Green Flash S. (G3) at Del Mar. He finished his championship season with a giant effort to finish second in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1).
