Grazen 2YO Wins MSW in Second Start

Albany, CA (October 25, 2020) – Ben Wade, the 2-year-old son of Grazen, made his second start a winning one in the 7th race at Golden Gate
Fields, a maiden special weight going six furlongs over the all weather surface.

Away sharply, Ben Wade quickly moved to engage in the pace battle. He saw off the first challenger and then was quickly reengaged by another for the stretch drive. He dug in and held on to win by three-quarters of a length.

Ben Wade is a homebred racing for Nick Alexander. Trained by Steve Miyadi, he is out of the Bernstein mare, Your Cheatin Heart, a half-sister to the multiple graded stakes winner Pee Wee Reese.
