Albany, CA (December 10, 2022) – Ghostly Gal, our homebred daughter of Ghostzapper, who was making her first start since January, returned a winner in the nightcap at Golden Gate Fields, a one mile allowance over the all weather surface.

Showing little rust from her vacation, Ghostly Gal was the pacesetter’s shadow for seven of the eight furlongs. She drew closer around the turn, but the leaders wasn’t done and neither was Ghostly Gal. She lengthened her stride, digging in to catch her stubborn foe. She did just that as the wire neared to win by a half-length.

Ghostly Gal has won or placed in six of her eight career starts for trainer Jonathan Wong. She was produced by the multiple stakes winning and graded stakes-placed Exclusive Quality mare, R Sassy Lass.
