Fourth Straight Victory for Praise and Honor

Erie, PA (July 26, 2021) – Praise and Honor, our 4-year old daughter of Honor Code, finished out her 2020 season with three straight victories. She picked up where she left off, coming from off the pace to win her 2021 debut in the 7th race at Presque Isle Downs, a six furlong allowance over the all weather surface.

Praise and Honor saved ground with a rail trip, sitting fourth down the backstretch and third around the turn. She had momentum, but the leader shut off the rail path and there was no choice for jockey Pablo Morales to make at the eighth pole but to switch out to make the run. She got going and her stride grew longer in the closing stages. It carried to the lead in the final steps and she won by a neck.

Praise and Honor is trained by Todd Beattie. Produced by the stakes winning Speightstown mare, Going to Kukaro, she was bred by Breffni Farm.
