Empire House Victorious in Featured Allowance

Fresno, CA (October 16, 2021) – Empire House, our 3-year-old Empire Maker filly, overcame a wide trip to win the feature race at Fresno, a five and one-half furlong allowance over the fast track.

Breaking from the outside post, Empire House chased the leader down the backstretch and around the turn. She came out to the six path at the top of the stretch and took aim on the frontrunner. She closed strongly, taking the lead inside the final furlong and drawing away late to score by a length and one-half.

Empire House is out of the Mineshaft mare, Mama Ya, who is a full sister to G1-winner and emerging sire Dialed In. This is the Allen Paulson family of blue hen Daring Bidder, dam of champion Eliza and Santa Anita Derby winner, Dinard among her six stakes winners. Bred in Kentucky by Lakland Farm, she is trained by Jonathan Wong.
