Empire House Takes Pleasanton Feature

Pleasanton, CA (June 17, 2022) – Empire House turned in her seventh top-two finish with her victory in the feature race at Pleasanton, a five and one-half furlong allowance over the fast track.

Our daughter of Empire Maker broke alertly and tracked the pacesetter through the opening quarter. Racing in the three path, she put her head in front with a quarter-mile to run and drew away in the stretch to win by nearly three lengths.

Empire House was produced by the Mineshaft mare, Mama Yay, who is from the family of champion Eliza. Bred in Kentucky by Lakland Farm, she is trained by Jonathan Wong.
