Distorted Queen Wires Maiden Special Weight Field

Albany, CA (March 12, 2022) – The ones were in Distorted Queen’s favor today in the 5th race at Golden Gate Fields. She drew the inside post. She was first out the gate and she led at every call to win the maiden special weight going one mile over the all weather surface.

Jockey Brayan Pena got our 3-year-old Distorted Humor filly running from the start. She cleared the field early, opened up leaving the far turn and help the closers safe to win by three-quarters of a length.

Distorted Queen was bred by Whisper Hill Farm and she was produced by the winning Medaglia d’Oro mare, Crown D’ Oro, who from the family of leading sire Smoke Glacken. She is trained by Jonathan Wong.
