Del Mar, CA (November 22, 2019)-Carnelian Hero went wire-to-wire in taking a Del Mar maiden claimer by a half length.

The two-year-old gelding by Old Topper is out of Cherokee Kiss (Cherokee Run) improved his record to a win, one second and one third place in his three starts. Earnings now $26,360 for the Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, LLC bred gelding.

Old Topper, now pensioned, has over $22 million in progeny earnings and at least 27 stakes winners.
