Alberta Sun Shines at Remington Park

Oklahoma City, OK (September 24, 2020) – The third 2-year-old winner of the season for Ministers Wild Cat is the filly, Alberta Sun, who earned her maiden special weight victory going six furlongs in the 5th race at Remington Park.

Nine lined-up for the contest, with Alberta Sun right in the middle in post five. She was first out of the gate, but two others were more interested in disputing the lead. She tracked in third and swept to the lead with just under two furlongs to go. From that point on, the race was over and she opened up as much the best to by more than four lengths.

Produced by the winning Tabasco Cat mare, Drifa, Alberta Sun was bred by Fleming Thoroughbred Farm LLC in Arizona. She races for Randy Howg and is trained by Robertino Diodoro.
