Del Mar, CA (July 27, 2020) – Li’l Grazen went from inside to outside to win the 9th race at Del Mar, a $53,000 allowance going six furlongs over the fast main track.
The 6-year-old daughter of Grazen drew the rail post, which has been tough of late at the seaside venue. Tracking the leaders down the backstretch, she angled out to make her move around the turn. She hit the front with a furlong to run and drew away to win by by a length and three quarters.
Bred in California by Nick Alexander, Li’l Grazen was produced by the winning Touch Gold mare, Cherry Gold. An earner of $182,585, she races for Rockingham Ranch and is trained by Peter Miller.
